Ahmet Talha Türkmen graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering at Bursa Technical University. Since 2023, he has been actively involved in the development of sustainability-focused software solutions at Metsims.
He developed the front end of CageSuite and contributes to workflow design, data management, and reporting modules within the LCADatabase, cageCBAM, and cageCARBON projects. He has also played an active role in designing and implementing project-specific data structures and has experience in reading, processing, and structuring EPD data.
He has advanced knowledge of React, React Native, JavaScript, and Node.js, as well as practical experience with AWS and JWT-based authentication systems. Using AWS Amplify, he developed AWS Cognito login integrations and passkey-based authentication flows. He has also worked on Stripe payment integrations.
His responsibilities have included data scraping processes and the development of data extraction and processing functions for PDF documents. He has developed modular map integrations using the Google Maps API, including Places, Geocoding, Marker, and Polygon services, as well as OpenStreetMap-based solutions.
He follows a quality-oriented development approach by applying unit testing and end-to-end testing methodologies. He is actively involved in production error monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution processes.
Working in line with Agile and Scrum methodologies, he contributes to task-based, iterative development processes. His primary areas of focus include developing user-friendly interfaces and building scalable, modular project architectures.
