GRI Sustainability Reporting
We utilize the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Framework in our sustainability reporting work. GRI is an internationally recognized non-profit organization that promotes economic, environmental, and social sustainability by setting the standards for sustainability reporting. A consistent language and measurements are necessary to communicate sustainability clearly and openly on an international platform. GRI provides a reliable and credible reporting frame that could be used by all sectors without significant differences. .

CDP
CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) runs the global disclosure system that enables companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their environmental impacts. Focusing on climate change and water, CDP have built the most comprehensive collection of self-reported environmental data in the world..


Corporate Water Footprint
Water Footprint is the indicator of the water amount of water consumed by the producer and consumer directly and indirectly. The water footprint constitutes the total amount of clean water used by the production and use of a product or service. Water footprints are a tool to determine how water resources can be used more efficiently.

Organisational Life Cycle Assessment (O-LCA)
O-LCA uses a life cycle perspective to compile and evaluate the inputs, outputs and potential environmental impacts of the activities associated with an organization, and the provision of its product portfolio. O-LCA is applied to eleven case studies worldwide by the UNEP to further illustrate the process and benefits of applying an environmental multi-impact assessment to organizations and their value chain. Metsims was chosen to be the lead consultant for two of the 11 case studies.

Non-Financial Reporting (ESG)
The EU’s Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) rules on non-financial reporting only apply to large public-interest companies with more than 500 employees. The Non-Financial Reporting must disclose information on environmental (such as carbon footprint), employee, social and human rights that is relevant to their business.
